Archiving and Self-Archiving
Journal Archiving
The journal ensures long-term preservation and accessibility of published materials through the following mechanisms:
- PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN): The journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries. This allows for the creation of permanent journal archives for preservation and restoration purposes.
- National Repositories: Electronic copies are deposited in the V.I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine.
- Permanent Identification: The journal utilizes Digital Object Identifiers (DOI) to ensure permanent links to all articles.
Self-Archiving (Policy for Authors)
Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on personal websites) under the following terms:
- Pre-print: Authors may post their pre-prints at any time, stating that the work has been submitted to this journal.
- Post-print (Accepted Manuscript): Authors may post the peer-reviewed and accepted version of their work.
- Version of Record (Final PDF): Authors can freely distribute the final published PDF immediately upon its publication on the journal’s website.
- Condition: When self-archiving, authors must provide a full bibliographic citation and an active DOI link to the original publication on the journal’s website.
